What the Lo Shu Source Is
The fixed Lo Shu arrangement is 4-9-2 / 3-5-7 / 8-1-6. As a mathematical magic square, every horizontal, vertical and diagonal line totals 15. Mapping a person’s birth-date digits into these cells is a modern numerology practice, so the resulting personality themes are presented as reflective interpretation rather than scientific fact.
The source chart includes every occurrence of each non-zero digit from DD-MM-YYYY. Repetitions stay visible. Zero is disclosed but excluded because the square contains only numbers 1 through 9.
Why Two Grids Are Shown
Modern Indian numerology often adds Birth Number and Life Path Number to the DOB digits. This convention can reinforce a cell or complete a line that is incomplete in the original date. Showing only the combined version would hide where that pattern came from.
AstroSaki therefore keeps the DOB-only grid authoritative as the Lo Shu source and displays the birth-number version as an explicit modern overlay. Kua is excluded because it belongs to a separate Feng Shui calculation with additional input rules.
How Planetary Context Is Used
Birth Number, Life Path Number and roots 1–9 are mapped to the Sun, Moon, Jupiter, Rahu, Mercury, Venus, Ketu, Saturn and Mars. Rahu and Ketu are identified as the North and South Lunar Nodes. This planetary layer is added after the Lo Shu calculation and never changes the Chinese source grid.
Numerology digits alone cannot create astrological conjunctions, house placements or birth-chart combinations. Those require an actual astrology chart, so this report does not fabricate them from grid cells.

Lo Shu is the Chinese 3 × 3 magic-square arrangement 4-9-2 / 3-5-7 / 8-1-6, where every row, column and diagonal totals 15. Mapping birth-date digits into the square for personality interpretation is a later numerology practice, not a scientific assessment.
The source grid uses every non-zero digit from the complete DD-MM-YYYY date exactly once. Repeated DOB digits remain repeated. Zero is disclosed but ignored because the Lo Shu square contains cells 1 through 9 only.
